About Bailey and Bryce (Twins)

The twins were born in October, they were induced two weeks early as i had problems with my pelvic bone and could no longer walk. Bailey was born first weighing 6lb 15oz and bryce was then born breech weighing 7lb. They had perfect shaped heads and i had no cause for concern, when the boys were 4 months old i took them to the dr as i had concerns about the back of their heads, Bryce was flat right across the back and the top of his head had started to peak, Bailey was also flat across the back and bulged at the forehead, the dr new very little about plagiocephaly/brachycephaly and told me to return in two months time. I then read an article in the West Lothian Courier and from then on in my story is the same as everyone elses, no financial support from nhs and hitting my head against a brick wall with health professionals. I decided to go to Dr Blecher and have the boys fitted with the Cranio helmet which was fitted in April. We started fundraising in March and have raised over £12000,. The decision to have the boys fitted with the cranio was the best decision we have ever made, we know by looking at the boys that it was the correct decision for us, they are neither up nor down with the helmets on and therefor it makes the whole process a whole lot easier to deal with. We will never have to ask "what if".
